Sterivial

Common questions

Do I need a prescription to buy these?
No. Syringes, prep pads and bacteriostatic water are consumables and are sold without a prescription. Nothing we sell is a medicine.
What is in the starter kit?
One 10 ml vial of bacteriostatic water, 30 x 1 ml insulin syringes with a 31G x 8 mm needle, and a box of 100 alcohol prep pads. It is $36.99 and ships free.
Which pack size should I choose?
Pick the pack that covers how often you will use them. The 100 pack is the best value per syringe at 40 cents each, the 50 pack is 52 cents, the 30 pack is 67 cents.
How long does an opened vial last?
Discard the vial 28 days after first use. Write the opening date on the label when you first open it.
3 ml or 10 ml?
The 10 ml is better value per ml at $1.60, against $3.33 for the 3 ml. The 3 ml suits occasional use where a 10 ml vial would be discarded mostly full.
Is the packaging discreet?
Yes. Every parcel goes out in plain, unbranded outer packaging. Nothing on the outside says what is inside or who it is from.
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
Yes. We ship anywhere in Australia, including PO Boxes and parcel lockers.
How do I dispose of used syringes?
Put them straight into a sharps container, never in household rubbish or recycling. Many pharmacies take full containers back, and most councils list local drop-off points.
